Welcome to The Training Source!  We offer two certifications.  State of California, *EMSA certified classes for

licensed Child Care and American Heart BLS CPR for Healthcare Providers and Heartsaver to meet OSHA work requirements. ​​​

Classes are offered either all in-classroom or Hybrid (live on Zoom w/in-person hands-on CPR & AED).

Private classes may be scheduled for groups of 8 or more!  Adult CPR & AED classes available upon request!

Need the Preventive Health Practices class for your Child Care?

  This 8-hour EMSA certified class is for California licensed Home Child Care and Preschool staff but is available for everyone!

This class includes:

Prevention of Infectious Diseases & Childhood Injuries

Child Nutrition & Lead Poisoning Prevention

  This class is offered in 2-four hour sessions either in two weekday mornings or weekday evening sessions.

  This EMSA certified class is on Zoom live with Catherine Hicks, certified Health Educator with 25+ years of Child Care training experience!

Take this class in the comfort of your home or workplace in front of a computer, tablet or laptop!  (Must have camera and audio)

It's easy to connect you to the Zoom link that will be emailed to you the day before the class.

Catherine Hayes Hicks is the owner of The Training Source and a certified and credentialed Health Educator. 

Catherine has been teaching CPR, AED, First Aid and Health & Safety classes since 1997 in San Diego County!
