Welcome to The Training Source!  We offer two certifications.  American Heart BLS CPR and Heartsaver CPR & First Aid and California EMSA certified CPR & First Aid for licensed Child Care and the general community.  Meets OSHA work requirements.

Classes are offered all in-classroom or Hybrid (live on Zoom live w/Instructor with a hands-on CPR & AED).

Private classes may be scheduled for groups of 8 or more!  Adult CPR & AED classes available upon request!

Need the Preventive Health Practices class for licensed Child Care?

  This 8-hour EMSA certified class is for California licensed Home Child Care and Preschool staff but is available for everyone!

This class includes:

Prevention of Infectious Diseases & Childhood Injuries

Child Nutrition & Lead Poisoning Prevention

  This class is offered in 2-four hour sessions with a choice of two weekday mornings or weekday evening sessions.

  This CA EMSA certified class is live on Zoom with Catherine Hicks, certified Health Educator.  Catherine has 25+ years of

Child Care training experience!

Take this class in the comfort of your home or workplace in front of a computer, tablet or laptop!  (Must have camera and audio on!)

Catherine Hayes Hicks is the owner of The Training Source and a certified and credentialed Health Educator. 

Catherine has been teaching CPR, AED, First Aid and Health & Safety classes since 1997 in San Diego County!
