taught live on Zoom by Catherine Hicks, a certified & credentialed Health Educator

with over 25+ years of Child Care training experience. 

 

This class is offered live on Zoom in 2 4-hour weekday morning or evening sessions.

  This 8-hour EMSA certified Preventive Health & Safety Training includes:

Prevention of Infectious Diseases

Prevention of Childhood Injuries

Lead Poisoning Prevention

Child Nutrition

This class meets the 8-hour training requirement for licensed Home Day Care and Preschool staff.

California licensed In-home or Center-based staff should attend the following:

EMSA Pediatric & Adult CPR, AED & First Aid

(8-hour class w/2 year EMSA certification.)

EMSA Preventive Health & Safety Training

(8-hour class.  Certification has no expiration.)
